3.3KW OBC Charger Series

Designed for 72V and 96V electric vehicle battery platforms. Featuring CAN Bus communication, high charging efficiency, air cooling and comprehensive protection functions, it provides reliable AC charging for electric motorcycles, utility vehicles and commercial EV applications.

3.3kW On-board Charger Series for 72V & 96V Electric Vehicles

Product Overview

The 3.3kW On-board Charger Series is designed for charging traction batteries in new energy vehicles and is available for both 72V and 96V battery platforms.
With a wide 90–264VAC input range, CAN Bus communication, air cooling and multiple electrical protection functions, the charger provides stable and reliable onboard charging for different electric vehicle platforms.
Both versions deliver up to 3.3kW output power at 220VAC input and 1.65kW at 110VAC input, with a maximum efficiency of ≥93%. The compact 4.3kg design supports vehicle integration where installation space, charging reliability and communication capability are important.

3.3kW Charging Power Provides up to 3300W charging power at 220VAC input and 1650W at 110VAC input.
72V & 96V Battery Platforms Two voltage versions are available to support different electric vehicle battery systems.
Wide AC Input Range Supports 90–264VAC input and 47–63Hz frequency, allowing operation with different AC power supplies.
CAN Bus Communication CAN Bus communication is supported for integration with vehicle control and battery management systems.
High Power Factor Power factor is ≥0.98 at more than half load.
High Conversion Efficiency Maximum efficiency is ≥93% for both versions.
Air-Cooled Design Both models use air cooling and weigh approximately 4.3kg.
Multiple Protection Functions Protection includes over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, short-circuit and over-temperature protection.

Charging Performance

The charger supports a wide AC input voltage range and automatically provides controlled DC charging output according to the selected battery platform.
The 72V version provides 50–100V DC output with up to 40A output current, while the 96V version provides 64–128V DC output with up to 32A output current.
Both versions provide constant-voltage accuracy of ±1% and constant-current accuracy of ±2%, supporting stable battery charging throughout the charging process.

The onboard charger integrates multiple protection functions for reliable vehicle operation.

For thermal protection, the charger begins power reduction at an internal temperature of 85°C and shuts down at 90°C.

CAN Communication & Vehicle Integration

Both versions support CAN Bus communication.
The signal interface includes CANH and CANL together with wake-up, charging connection confirmation, charging connection guidance, high-voltage interlock and electronic lock-related signals, supporting integration into vehicle charging and control systems.

Cooling & Mechanical Design

Both chargers use an air-cooled design and weigh approximately 4.3kg.
